Guardians Academy is a premier online Islamic education platform dedicated to reviving maktab-style learning for Muslim youth in the West. Through structured religious literacy, spiritually accessible instruction, and meaningful virtual suhbah with expert teachers, we cultivate confident, morally anchored Muslims prepared to live and lead with excellence in modern society.
Why Guardians?
In Arabic, a Ḥāfidh (ḥāfiẓ) is someone who memorizes the entire Qur’an. But the word means so much more. A true ḥāfidh is a guardian—a protector of the Qur’an’s message, and in turn, someone protected by it. They live with a clear compass, guarded from choices that harm their soul, and anchored in wisdom no matter what the world throws at them. And our world today? It’s full of noise. Every scroll, every trend, every shifting idea competes for our youth’s hearts and minds. Without guidance, many drift—feeling isolated, confused about their identity, and disconnected from the deen. That’s where Guardians steps in.

our current offerings
Cultivating Certainty in Muslim Youth
September 8, 2025 – June 22, 2026
This course builds the intellectual, devotional, and spiritual framework every Muslim needs. Students will receive a foundation in the most essential aspects of our worldview, all taught in conversation with popular discourse they are exposed to in the modern age. By the end of this program, our aim is for students to become confident in Islam as the greatest way of life and experience the joy that comes from practicing our beautiful faith.
The Juz ‘Amma Masterclass
Sept 6, 2025 – May 30, 2026
A complete Qur’an memorization track that emphasizes understanding, connection, spiritual presence, and practical living of the Qur’anic message. Students engage with tafsīr, language, context, and contemporary relevance while steadily progressing in memorization. Upon completion, they can join a 4-year part-time program for a holsitic hifz of the entire Qur’an.
